Over the years, the band has performed for local clubs, organizations

(original lead
singer of Paul Revere and the Raiders), Mitch Ryder and Lou Christie.
Surrender Dorothy plays a mixture of oldies, classic rock, old time
honky-tonk
and originals. Their set list features material from such diverse acts
as The
Beatles, Elvis Presley, Bad Company, Hank Williams Sr., The Kinks,
Chuck Berry,
Bill Haley and the Comets, Eric Clapton, Johnny Rivers, ELO, Midnight
Oil,
Billy Joel, Paul Revere and the Raiders, George Jones, The Monkees,
Conway Twitty,
Del Shannon, Bruce Springsteen and many more.
The name Surrender Dorothy comes from the Wizard of Oz, the name chosen
for the
band's love of the movie. The band uses the Oz theme on stage with Oz
stand-up
characters and a banner proclaiming "Surrender Dorothy, You're Not in
Kansas Anymore".
